Furzedown Art Studios combines the work of husband and wife team Iain and Lynn Selwyn-Reeves; it's a family affair!
Our artwork is created in Furzedown, South West London hence the name.

Both avid photographers, we are always searching for new and interesting subjects as a starting point for what may be more naturalistic images or given a modern abstract twist.

Iain's work focuses primarily on architectural shapes; his London Icon range works beautifully within both residential and commercial environments. Iain digitally captures the tiny details of a building giving an almost screen printed effect but through photography.

This stylish contemporary range is perfect reminder of stunning iconic London buildings such as Battersea Power Station, the Albert Bridge or St. Paul's Cathedral so also making these ideal gifts to celebrate an anniversary for those with a special place or a reminder of time spent in our Capital City.

Having graduated with a BA in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, Lynn's passion is drawing so her hand-drawn personalised names, initials and animals are her absolute favourites! Every one of these illustrations is unique by the very nature that it is drawn especially for you by hand using lightfast, waterproof pigment ink then tinted with watercolour, pencil or gouache paints to give a beautiful finished design.

From some of these special hand-drawn illustrations, Lynn has created a range of bold and bright prints suitable for both boys and girls based on animals, dinosaurs, wonderful stories and poems such as the Owl & the Pussycat and Love you to the Moon & back, that work equally well in a nursery, child's bedroom or family rooms.
